You don't expect to get all of the top guys but when you have such good connections and our situation was such that we couldn't land any, the repercussions from this class will be awful.
Perfect time for freeze to clean house. How much worse could it get.

If we don't get Cam Akers I will be beyond pissed.
I wanted Ty Chandler and think he would've committed here if we didn't tell cam we were only taking him 1 RB.
That has bit us before with LB and other places leaving us to scramble late.

Hope we stay put at OL recruits, take our 2 had a big OL class last year. No need to use schollys unless absolutely elite.

Barring something crazy happening, like Nix leaving before signing day, I have a very solid reason to believe Cam Akers will be signing with Ole Miss.

I don't make predictions about recruiting, ever. So think what you want.

Was on 247 and see that Akers received 4 crystal balls for FSU yesterday. While I know most don't believe we have a shot at him, it's interesting that FSU has visited Cam 3 times in December and we're non-existent. Begs the question whether it's a sign he's told us he's not coming, no matter what. Last interaction on record (at least according to 247) was in September.

Also, David Johnson just gave us a crystal ball flip on CJ Avery. Certainly would seem to be the McGriff effect.

The only reason it says FSU visited him 3 times and we appear to be "non-existent" in his recruitment is because the FSU mods update the visits on their site while we do not. Guarantee we visited him just as much. R-E-L-A-X. Good news on Avery though.

Cam Akers isn't coming here


CJ Avery isn't coming here. I'm aware his family loves crime dawg. He's not coming

My concern is what happens if we don't get Cam? It seems it's always do or die. Why keep telling guys you are the our only guy as the pitch?

I want Cam Akers to commit for Xmas. I feel like the forecast is for coal though...

If he does want to come here, he needs to commit sooner than later so he can create some momentum for us to snag a couple other recruits late in the game. "Treadwell Effect"
