I think it is fitting that those schools who used Ole Miss' past to keep recruits from even visiting are having to endure watching Ole Miss get quality players.
The problem has always been getting recruits to campus. The problem wasn't a financial issue. Now that CHF can get them to campus it's a level playing field.
When you are beating the Bama's, LSU's and Auburn's of the west along with your in state rival, with all things being equal the recruits are picking Ole Miss.
Mullen and Saban don't look like their having fun, Les Miles offense doesn't look fun. CHF is having fun and his offense is fun to play.
Why would recruits not want to play at Ole Miss?

A little off topic, but Freeze looks like he aged five years this year. Not necessarily a bad thing. Shows he really wants to win. And you make a good point about Saban and Mullen.

You mean the two from OM staff writers that came in yesterday or the one that came in for Michigan from somebody named the Godfather today?

After Feb. 3rd he needs to go to Hawaii for a month have a daily message sleep 12 hours a night. Do whatever he needs to do to recharge the batteries. I am worried about him.

Who is this Godfather fellow? I read somewhere on tRant where people were making fun of him.

Not sure but why go by "The Godfather?" Seems weird. Great free article on Shea Patterson recruitment on 247 right now. Snippet:
so it wasn't the money?

What did the Ole Miss staff do to impress you the most?
Mr. Patterson: "I think the biggest thing is, we didn't talk a whole lot about football. We talked a lot about life. Shea's more than just a football player, and he's been raised a certain way. I think the staff and their vision for him in the future really clicked with Shea. Real humble. I think my wife really enjoyed the fact that their plan for after football...we felt really comfortable as a family."

A quote from a 4star safety from Texas...
The beautiful campus strikes again....
(Deontay) Anderson described the process of how Ole Miss became one of his top schools. "I wasn't interested in Ole Miss or nothing when they offered me," he shared. "I never really liked it. I was like, 'Why did they offer me?' I was happy they offered me, but at the same time I was like, 'I'm not going there.' "Then we went to Mississippi State, that was my first offer, and my family was like we want to take a visit there to show appreciation for my first offer, and we decided to go to Ole Miss. Ever since that day, I loved it. That's the most beautiful campus...the coaches, the players, it's all nice. Ever since that day, it's just kept growing and growing. Every day I talk to Freeze and they just landed up in there."

ED is freaking out over that quote. Thinks he picked OM because of our beautiful campus and thinks that code for money or prostitution.

So you are saying we can credit MSU for D. Anderson? Lol I'll take it

Michigan is giving Gary's high school coach a permanent coaching position. Gary's high school teammate has already enrolled at Michigan. It looks like Michigan will get another unofficial visit from Gary before signing day.
(All info from CFB reddit and Michigan 247.)
Gary may be flirting with other schools, but it sounds like the pressure will be on him to sign with Michigan at the end.
TL;DR Forget about Gary.

If Curtis can be a solid contributor next year are linebackers could be in great shape.

It will be interesting. OM went all in on his mom. UM went all in on his coach and hoped that could sway his mom. It worked until we got the mom on our side. Now, one can only imagine the dynamic that creates between Mom-Gary-Coach
