Yeah he was rediculous at the under armor game. How does he not see that his coach is leaving after next season?

Houston might join the Big 12. If they do I doubt he goes anywhere next season.

That's alot to wager on something that might happen and if Texas or A&M called he would leave for sure.

Even if that does happen, why wouldn't he bolt of A&M or Texas if they offer?

Royce Newman is visiting the 22nd. Really want him.

I mean people said the same about Hugh. And he turned down Florida.

It's hard to tell. Life expectancy for males is around 80 though

Found this on the bama board:

quote:

SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Five-star outside linebacker Mique Juarez recently named Ole Miss and UCLA as the two schools he’s mainly focused on as his recruitment winds down, but do not count out Alabama just yet.

Juarez, the nation’s No. 2 outside linebacker, will take an official visit to Alabama on Jan. 22, and that could shake things up.

“Most likely, I think so. It could open my eyes,” Juarez told SEC Country about that trip possibly changing his mind. “Really, I want to see how the players act even if they win the championship or not. I want to see the way they act and how the coaches really are.”

The 6-foot-2, 231-pounder said Crimson Tide outside linebackers coach Tosh Lupoi is recruiting him to play the “money” position, which is a hybrid linebacker. It’s the position Juarez wants to play at the next level.

“Coach Lupoi told me I’d be playing that money backer position. That’s the consideration,” Juarez said. “The defensive tackles they have over there are vicious guys that can open some holes and make some plays. That’s why I’m really considering (Alabama). You want to make some plays in the backfield. Who doesn’t want to? That’s why I’m really considering it. And playing for coach (Nick) Saban, that is a great guy.”

Following his visit to Alabama, Juarez says he will reevaluate his recruitment and determine which school is the best fit overall.

“If I like Alabama, I might go to Alabama,” Juarez said. “If I don’t like Ole Miss anymore and I just lost feelings, then I’ll look at just UCLA and Alabama. It’s just how I’ll feel.”

Not recruiting related exactly, but saw where Wesley McGriff was hired by Auburn. If state gets Tom Allen, that's 2 of the best assistant coaches we've had at other SEC west schools. Both were loved by the players, will either of these hurt us in recruiting in the state of Mississippi? Hopefully Allen stays and waits for a better job.

Either we are first and UCLA is 3rd (which is how I read that) or he did like us at one point and we are out of it now.

Missing out on McGriff is going to suck.

Mique Juarez family tie ins at UCLA

Just came across this Mique is the 1st prospect broken down.
Thought the article is biased has some of the information we've discussed recently.

Extended family is wearing UCLA gear and attend games regularly
They all attend his games, and it would be a big deal for them to fly to MS to watch him.

Hopefully we tell him we will fly them all out here for games. Or we have less of a shot with him than I already thought.
