Pennamon looked really good. Had the QB for the West not sucked, he would have been MVP. The only negative was ball security. He put it on the ground twice, though both he was ruled down(the first one was a bad call, never showed a replay of the 2nd). He was easily the best player on the field tonight though.

Not easily impressed by performances in the all star games but he looked really good. Almost has a Darren McFadden look to his game. I don't think he has the sprinters speed but similar running style. Power runner that can back some incredible cuts. This guy can be a work horse and runs out of the spread. This is the back we have been needing. Finishes runs and is always falling forward for extra yards.

He isn't slow by any means, he placed third in the 400m at state.

I said it on the RB and I'll say it here... The first time I watched his film I thought he ran a lot like Sony Michel.. Watch Michel's film and you'll see it... 220 lbs.. Fast and smooth... Great vision and cutting ability... Bama flipping this 3 star RB from Mizzou last week makes me feel like they aren't very confident about their chances of taking him.

Even still, their sell for RB is much stronger than ours... So our wallet needs to be that much deeper
His vision is the best part of his game, and what sets him apart from the pack... There was one run last night, later in the game, where if it were not for his vision it'd have been like a 6-8 yard gain whereas he turned it to like a 17 yard gain

That's the good news. Bad news is Mique is rooming with a UCLA commit. It's going to take a miracle to get him from UCLA. I think we finish #2 again for a top LB.
