No. If we miss on them we stick with DK.

True, but in an offense like ours I feel you must take at least 2 WRs every year. Some years you may take more, but 2 should be minimum. Think about how many WR play in our system. Gotta have guys that can rotate in/out.
I completely agree.

we should be able to pick up a three star guy if we want. Seems like we had a couple interested that we slow played.

But we don't really need one. I agree with taking two receivers every class, but we redshirted Van Jefferson, and we have Lodge next season. I think we're fine at WR.

I'd like to add another lineman or secondary player before a receiver.

I can see taking two wr this year. We are still pretty deep at receiver. Plus we have 2 TE's committed. So 2 TE's and 1 or 2 WR's is solid.

We have Engram returning and Hibbler red shirted.

We already have a solid six rotation with:
Adeboyejo
Stringfellow
Pack
Lodge
Patterson
Jones

Plus Collins Moore is attempting to gain a medical hardship for another year.

I believe the back up plan at WR would be Daniel Crowell.
Even though he de committed I believe he would love an opportunity to play with the Rebels.

If Nate Craig-Myers wants to be a Rebel you take him and DK and there's no reason to take more this year.

WR is not hurting at this point, depth at the O-line on the other hand is a problem. I would like to drop a few of the 10 TE's we have and have about 3 more linemen. Bring in 8 redshirt half of them.

Even DK and N. C-M will have to work extremely hard to get playing time next season. Most 4 and 5 star players want to be 3 and done, but they want to play all 3 years.

Our offense needs 10 for depth/injury purposes. In addition to those 6, Bledsoe will be back. With Collins that's 8. Hibbler and Engram make 10. At this point, any Freshman-Ready WR is either added depth or upgrading the position.

We will miss Cody a lot IMO.

Though to be fair, I said the same thing about Logan and Sanders and someone always comes in and fills that role.

Lose Core and Treadwell this year. Attaboy and probably String next year. Throw in Engram as he is gone next year too. That is 214 receptions, 3087 receiving yards, and 25 tds. That is a ton to replace. Lodge, Pack, Van, DK, Bledsoe are the WRs we have right now for 2017. Thats thin, imo.

Very true. It's not just thin. They're unproven. There's a much better chance at least 1 of those players doesn't pan out than there is is all live up to expectations.

I hated to use the experience aspect, as most of those guys will play large roles in the passing game next year. Plus String could always return, too. My point is that by taking 1 this year, we will be left around 6 plus incoming freshmen.

What we will miss most at receiver isn't reliable hands, it is Treadwell's blocking.

I wonder how many rush yards are directly attributed to his clinic blocking

So they were interviewing Little at UA practice on ESPNU and he was asked about recruiting for OM and he said he'd been doing some ... He was then asked what he and Rashan Gary have talked about and he laughed and point blank said "You'll have to wait til National Signing Day to find out"

LSU board cites the Atlanta Journal saying Drake Davis to Ole Miss.

Guess SP put Drake up into wearing the LSU clothing this week.

Tom Loy just crystal balled him to Ole Miss, but the previous 10 have been to LSU. Even our mods on 247 cb'ed him to LSU.
