Also don't forget Evan missed half the season in 2013 too when he broke his leg or whatever.

What I have read on TC - it was a temp fix surgery, however as rehab increased he was hit with some swelling.

TC is going to need a more major surgery that will take a longer rehab and will prevent him from doing the NFL combine, thus he is here next year.

If I got this from reading it here somewhere, sorry for the germans.

The NCAA has been camped out waiting for shite from the 2013 recruiting class to arise. It has been salivating. It isn't now suddenly going to go away.

They've been in Oxford for 3 years and found zero recruiting violations and finally got their slab of flesh with Tunsil getting improper benefits (nothing to do with recruiting) yet you think they will continue to waste time and resources when 3 years came up with nothing and they are all about to be in the NFL? Did you think before you posted that?

No need for a Medical Redshirt. He gone after next year no matter what.

I just saw the line vs Memphis (+10.5) and the O/U at 70. I hope Vegas knows something I don't. I expect this to be a pretty close game with less scoring then people may think.

What make you think Memphis can slow down our offense?

They gave up over 750 yards to a back up QB led Cinnci.

The literally have no defense. I think I heard they replaced 9 starters on defense from last years team. And honestly their offense is good enough that I think they will score some point in us.

For the time being-yes. Why quit now? Do you stop fishing in a spot after you've been anchored there for 3 years and you now start catching fish? Do you pull up anchor and leave? Especially when someone down the road told you that there may be more there?

Memphis plays us like its the last game they will ever play every time we play them. They will play with a lot of adrenaline against us and for some reason we don't seem to respond too well to those situations. The OL is hot garbage and with certain important guys still somewhat injured (Conyer, Taylor) we will continue to struggle there.

Memphis will score on us, I just think in the end it wont be a really high score unless someone pulls away at the end, hopefully us.

It is not quite like that. On our current 6 game winning streak against them. We have scored 171 and Memphis 93.

If it was not for 2003/2004, Memphis would be like Tulane to us.

Here's a thought.

Mempis' offense hasn't had 30,000 fans chanting defense while the offense was playing a home game.

If Rebel Nation shows up loud and proud. The extra noise plus the big game jitters could stall out enough drives early in the game to give Ole Miss the momentum early.

None of the last 6 games mean anything to this game. Also the discrepancy of score is mainly 2 years (last year and 2008). Memphis wants to beat us so bad they can't think of anything else. Hell they were chanting "we want ole miss" at the cinnci game and it was 3 weeks away at that point.

They are going to give us anything and everything they can. The question becomes can we make enough stops early enough to take the wind out of their sails like we did last year.

I understand why we are all a little on edge, but their defense does give up HUGE yards. We will rush 200 yds and statistics show if we can rush that, it's in the bag. We got this folks.

I'm not on edge at all. I'm viewing this game just like our other shitty non conference games.

My outlook is that if we get beat by Memphis then we have way more issues and Memphis is the least of them.

But that's not the case. The past 6 games do mean things going into this game. Teams have momentum and teams have injuries and all.

And "oh no their fans were chanting "we want OM""

Big deal. If I start chanting "I want LSU" during this game it isn't gonna make our team all of a sudden super better against LSU or anything. Don't get me wrong I understand they want to beat us. But so do all teams we play. This is no different. We are vastly the better team and it will show.

And Memphis winning against bad teams this year does not make them a great team that can beat Ole Miss.

Outside of Eli's senior year, our talent was no where near what it is now. That explains those close games

Who did we lose or what did Memphis add that will help them win over the crap show they did against us last year. Someone break it down.

Pretty sure he meant the previous 6 games against Memphis.

I remember Bo hitting Treadwell for a quick 7 points. But then it seemed like no one could moved the ball until the second half. And we broke it off.

Who got stats?

This is why "smart watches" exist.
