Tyler Putman, Davion Johnson, worst case Bouldin moves outside or Patterson plays the Conyers role and plays guard and Tackle. Plus Conyers is still there.

None that I know of. They've visited a good bit though and our 247 mod thinks he's Ole Miss-bound as well.
The melt won't be that impressive unfortunately. They have another five-star committed for that class. He may or may not be better than Patterson in the long run, but they'll all claim he was.
Patterson is the real deal, I really hope we can land him.We can sign 24 pussy-willow two and three-stars like Craig wants, but if we land Patterson with them I'll be happy.

I'm not sure what the connection is exactly but I feel very comfortable that we land him.

If we do land him, there will be nothing comfortable about what's going on in my pants.

If we land Patterson I'll forget about Richmond pretty quick. Until he's being dry humped by Alabama's defensive linemen because we don't have a serviceable right tackle.

What? Teams aren't intimidated by a right tackle named after a baby deer?

i wouldn't be surprised if by the time we wake up tomorrow (i don't have class so like 9) that shea is already committed

Oh that's 2016's class. frick. Nevermind.

Is there some kind of connection between Ole Miss and Patterson? Sorry, haven't paid attention to Ole Miss locks.
I don't think so. When we hire Sean Patterson we will.

I already posted this in the signing day thread but, who here thinks Austrian Robinson can play OT? Might be a silver lining if he can.

For what it's worth, LSU's best recruiting insiders think Shea is going to Ole miss now. Apparently you guys will be hiring his brother soon, and he's always been skeptical of LSU signing both he and Franks. It would be a huge pick up. It definitely makes Ole Miss an immediate player for Mykel Jones

Shea has a ton of family in tupelo. Sheas dad has known Dan Werner all his life. We run an offense that would be so literally perfect for him and have wide receivers out the arse. There is the connection

If that happens sometime soon, I won't even remember a recruit we missed on from this class's name.
I completely agree. But we learned it isn't over till the ink is dry. Look at Richmond.
Even if Patterson commits, you can bet Texas will pursue him with all their might. He is from Texas originally, they will try to sell him the idea of him being the messiah that takes Texas back to national relevancy. We need to sell him the idea that his name will be remembered above those of Archie and Eli.

We have an offensive identity? Werner is specialized in one thing, Freeze in another, and the only consistency is that they both just leave the game up to the defense.

Don't forget the strong possibility of an early signing period starting next year. If that's the case, we could be in great shape.

Qb commits are different. Wherever Shea decides, he will stick with it
