Not trying to sound like a whinny arse beach. Just wanted to give my perspective with the Richmond deal. This is what I know. I happen to know the Wommacks (at least the Mom side of the family) extremely well. I can tell you for a fact that side of the family are HUGE OM fans. I can also tell you that Mama wanted her son at OM. I can also tell you they were put off a bit by the approach they were recruited. They loved how Saban was recruiting them..... I don't know this for sure...but I wonder if OM pursued Wommack like they should because of Richmond? How in the hell do we lose Wommack? Its almost like losing Peyton Manning.....or at least approaches that level. IMHO.

Maybe some good news will come soon.

Apparently Alabama has made a late push for CeCe.

So I know Freeze is catching some shite from everyone right now about not having a backup plan on certain and with how he handled recruiting (or lack of) other O linemen.

Well I think it needs to be looked at this way. Freeze is still a young coach. He still has a lot to learn overall. Let's look at his recruiting years.

Year 1: just took over doesn't really count.

Year 2: let's not kid ourselves this one just kinda fell in place BUT Freeze and staff did a hell of a job selling OM and made these top tier kids stick.

Year 3: I honestly can't recall much haha. But I don't feel like we got burned all that much. Just was never in the game much for any huge hyped up guys.

Year 4: from the looks of it we are gonna swing and miss at some key points, and not have backup plans. That is the huge issue. I would rather go after 5 stars miss out and then sign a 3 star, than just recruit a 3 star from the get go. But from the looks of it we didn't have a backup plan and that's a huge issue. BUT Freeze hasn't really ran into this situation before. So hopefully he learns from it and changes his philosophy on it and learns to always have a backup plan and such.

I've always lived believing the following. It isn't a mistake if you do something wrong the first time, it's a mistake if you don't learn from it after it happens and you let it happen again. Cause life is about screwing up and learning from it to make you better than you were before. Hopefully when Freeze and Co look back on this recruiting class he sees his screw ups and makes changes where needed.

Oh and WAYYYY TL:DR. idgaf

Look, I wasn't trying to be a dick. But the thing that gets me is like the Bama Bumps and shite that's all real. I wonder how many of you guys could honestly tell me the diff between an 88.982 star and a 92.052 star. If it was an exact science everyone would suck who wasn't a 4-5 and everyone who was a 5 would just be able to plug into the NFL and play no prob, I have never, ever seen that happen. We would never have beaten bama last year or even competed with Auburn, or LSU ever, but we do. It's the truth.

You just said it in a severely retarded manner. They evaluate everyone, from the 5stars to the 2 stars and pick who to offer from who fits. I'm saying he fricked up by not getting a 3 star to commit if we lose our 5 star. I'm not saying the 3 stars aren't good.

So how would we feel if we finish with

Lodge
Cece
Van Jefferson
J. Julius
A. Robinson

How big of a fail is that?
Also why is no one reporting sources from inside our coaching staff about Leo? Rivals, Scout, and 247 have all been silent on him since Sunday. It sounds fishy to me and I like to hope it was all a setup by Freeze but I doubt it. But if we get everyone but Leo and Drew is this class a failure?

Not an immediate failure. Just need to make up ground in a big way in 2016. No single recruiting class destroys a football program. As long as it stays at one.

Not necessarily a failure. Its a solid class, but we would be missing on some big recruits in our most needed positions which would suck

Why the hell did you quote me in that post. All I said was it is extremely to late to move Liggins to OT. Just leave him as a big TE. We are still thin there and he would have a better understanding of the position. If you plan to move him to OT you HAVE to RS him this year. Period.

"We've had too many key sources tell us that things are pointing towards Oxford for the nation's top QB recruit, Shea Patterson, to not believe it is true."

-Yancy

If that happens sometime soon, I won't even remember a recruit we missed on from this class's name.

Exactly. If they were gonna move him OT then last year was a complete waste of time. I say leave him at TE. At least there he understands his assignments.

I think the issue is that we need a 3rd tackle for this season. Is it going to be C. Morris? Who then?

Is there some kind of connection between Ole Miss and Patterson? Sorry, haven't paid attention to Ole Miss locks.

Also, please pull him from LA, LSU's melts are delicious
