Wouldn't make much sense to come here though. The two would be competing for the same spot. Neither would take CJ spot. These guys ain't coming to be backups.

I just looked at the MS rankings for 2016. I didn't realize just how loaded the State is. Good lord next year could be fricking massive for us.

I actually agree. None of this happens if he doesn't decide to go here. Maybe Treadwell and Connor come. Doubt Tunsil would have come, maybe.
Shea would be program changing as well. Throw in the fact he could be throwing to Lodge and Metcalf with some serious talent on the OL.

It was a quote from David at 247. I in no way think he is coming to school at Ole Miss and really doubt he's even OV'ing. I just posted a recruiting rumor in a recruiting thread.

It's hard to say. Cause there is a REAL good chance that we would have never been in this position to even go after Shea if we didn't have Robert and his class. It's just a tough call.
It's kinda like when you are 5-0 and playing Bama and win but then beating State at 11-0. Yes the State game was bigger but it wouldn't be that case if you wouldn't have beaten Bama in the first place.

I wouldn't put it past Freeze, but the blog says Jefferson would be visiting with Cowart, and I believe I heard Cece was visiting UF this weekend. I think the blogger is buying into the thin belief that Jefferson and Holland are sold on the Rebs after their visit and Byron wants to join.
Personally, I think giving the playing time Byron and Cece deserve as freshman would be tough. It's our deepest position beside WR. I just hope he goes to UF and the package deal doesn't happen.

I'll agree to disagree... I mean it's close, but a QB of that caliber can make something out of nothing (see Peyton Manning and the Colts)
RN played a bigger role in recruiting no doubt but as far as one player vs one player... Shea gets the edge (assuming he comes in as advertised)
