I think the reason it matters is because you know what you have with guys you develop. With a JUCO qb you are taking a risk for a guy you plan to play.

Friend of mine on scout mentioned a kid no one is talking about. Juwan Adams from North Pike. He looks like a young Dak. Check him out. I'm at work and can't link his profile but I think he could blow up if he attends some camps this summer.

Good enough to be 2nd string on an NFL team for at least a year. He probably would've been fine.
Regardless of why he went, Ole Miss missed out on the evaluation. Austin's last HS game was against my HS and they were a one man team. His JR year he led his HS to a perfect 10-0 regular season.

Who cares where the QB comes from.... Just give me a good one.

It does not matter....If a QB comes in and beats a guy you were developing. Then GOOD!
QB is the most important position on the field....and I can tell you it...more than any other position (not always...but mostly) you either have IT or you don't have IT. Some times it takes time to identify that....but sometimes you have to get a pool of players in to see who has "it".
QB is not like the OL where you develop them for 2 years and insert.... very rarely works that way.
Right now...Freeze is not comfortable with current QB's...and I don't blame him. One is slow and weaked armed...and the other seems to struggle with the system. The second one is obviously more talented (really not close) and if he could just find his nitch...could take over. The third QB on the team that few mention is just a great athlete and not sure he is any worse than the first two. Do any of those 3 make me go wow in any way at all? Answer: LOL No.
Recruit Freeze....Recruit.

Let me ask you this: What was your opinion on Bo when he was named starter the week of our opening game in 2012? I know it was tough competition he was battling out all spring and summer(Brunetti and Mackey), so I'm sure you were very comfortable going into that game, because with beating out BB and Mackey at the last possible minute, you could definitely tell Bo had the IT factor.
Long story short, chill the frick out. Kincade has looked beyond good outside of two plays(one against Boise, one against Arky).

I saw Bo had "it" from the very start....so for me I was happy to see him take control. Bo not the most talented....but he definately has "it".
kincade may be great in the end.....bring in the comp and lets find out.

I knew it was Bo in the spring game... He was the only QB we had that could pass. The "QB competition" was hilarious to me and many others as I recall. We all knew it was Bo, and it was glaringly obvious once the season started.

You can say all you want about the it. The luxury of having a guy for two years in your system is he hasn't gotten horrible coaching along the way. He is your guy that you developed. With a JUCO guy you are taking a risk. Any coach would prefer to have the guy that grows in their system. Doesn't always work out that way though.

Like I've been saying, I just want Kelly so we have extra options.

I would like having another option.
I could care less who starts and if they're a transfer as long as they can the ball to the right places.

*insert spin*
We didn't want him. DJ Jones was the real priority. I'm glad we pulled his offer so now we can use that on Swag Kelly.
