And if I'm not mistaken..Dickie Scruggs is from Brookhaven..

Lived there as a young child. He's from Pascagoula at least that's where he's lived most of his life.

I'm from Brookhaven and I never knew Scruggs ever lived here until I read the Fall of the House of Zeus.

He owns a ton of land in Canada too. I know his Brother, John takes care of their farm off HWY 84

I'm with Al. I always thought he claimed Pascagoula.

Yeah that's what I'm talking about. I was told they were high fencing it and putting exotic deer in it to let special needs kids hunt. That's just what I was told

Leo Lewis makes a HUGE move in the latest Rivals rankings, moving up to #61 nationally.

I have a quick question about the 2012 class. Why did we hold on to Nicks? Was it because if we didn't, we wouldn't have gotten Mathers or Walton? I'm not trying to say that he is a bad coach actually I think he has done a great job but, after what Nutt did to our program I didn't want to keep any of them.

I think our RBs were a lone bright spot under Nutt and have continued to be one of our most over-achieving position groups.

Jeff Scott was waaaayyy better than he should have been. Randall Mackey was amazing in the role (but he was just an all-around badass). Mathers and Walton have done outstanding, IMO.

I don't care if he was one of Nutt's assistants, that's not his fault. He seems to do a great job with our RBs.

After watching Jaylen Smith's highlights I could see that kid easily ending up a 4*. I'm glad we jumped on him first.

Anyone worried about how all this negative press will affect recruiting?

P.S. - I just posted this same question on Rivals and got called a "Bullfraud".

Now I remember why I never post over there.

Who knows. I have been worrying that it might affect Freeze's clean ship imagine but I guess we really won't know until next year.

I didn't want to post that over here for fear of the same thing...but I'm wondering the same thing you are Wanderin.
