How much would a win against Bama really impact '15 recruiting? What are the implications? I'm sure it would help a lot with some in-state guys and Memphis kids. How would it affect the national guys though?

It can't hurt. If a national guy doesn't have any interest in Ole Miss none but if he has just a little it helps.

If we beat Bama I don't think we will finish worse than 3rd in the SEC West. In all honesty 9-4 counting bowl game is the realistic goal this year and anything more than that is just gravy.

It was a hypothetical.

If we beat Bama I fully believe that McMillon, CeCe, Newsome, and Lodge would be rebs. We probably dont land any of those if we go 8-4. 9-3 with a loss to Bama gets us newsome and probably Lodge.

I dont' think it matters, hoenstly at this point. DT has switched from a rush-DE to LB multiple times. CJ was recruited as a LB out of HS and has played his whole career at DE. You never know with these things. I just think it is great that we can keep adding depth and talent to the DE/LB positions.

Well Leo is our MIKE of the future. I doubt Leo or McMillon wants to have a timeshare at MIKE. Josh is not a stinger. That's why I think he plays DE.

You're forgetting that DT and CJ switched spots because of NEED. We had Mike Marry when CJ switched to DE and we have multiple DE's and a hole at MIKE hence DT moving back.

I totally agree though. Would love to get all of them.

I don't think we're ever going to switch to a true 4-3 scheme.

Wommack loves the Husky position. We're definitley not switching while we have TC.

Are you talking about having TC playing basically a WILL and having Leo and Josh split MIKE and SAM?

There is no need to switch to a 3-4 defense. We play with a NT, DT, a big DE and a small DE who depending on the defensive call, is rushing the passer or covering a receiver. He has outside contain on run plays. The Huskie provides the other outside linebacker in our defense.

We are already playing a 3-4 in essence. When we play Arkansas, look for the Rebels to use another big DE to help control the line of scrimmage.

It seems to me that the Husky is more of a 3rd S rather than a 3rd LB.

And most of the games I've watched, CJ has had his hand in the dirt (this past weekend both he and Haynes were up more though) so in essence, we'd be running the 4-2.

I want us to beat bama for many reason, but the main one right now is recruiting.

The thing is we just can't afford a blowout.

Cause as others have said before. We win and say come be a part of this.

We lose close and say come be the players to get us there.
