What year is he and does he still have a red shirt? I thought he was the guy who really wanted to sign with us but scholarship papers from the previous year prevented him from doing it.

Yes, Hill is the guy that was committed to us for a good bit of time, but was not allowed to sign with any team other than Bama if Bama offered.

Sounds like four to play four. Looks like he was "processed" by Saban so not sure we would take him. Its hard to turn your back on olineman that initially made the grade for an offer from us though.

Hill signed with Alabama in 2012 out of high school, but went to Hargrave Military Academy. He then committed to Ole Miss, but recommitted to Alabama in December 2012 before enrolling at Alabama in the spring of 2013.

He's too much of a candy butt to play football now.

What do y'all think is the biggest difference between Nutts' recruits and Freezes'recruits? What jumps out of your mind first size, speed, attitude or something else?

Cooley will go Ole Miss, which will leave us a senior Quiny/Engram, junior Pack, anyone we sign from this class sophomore, and a fellow freshman Metcalf. Depending on the 2015 class, we either stop here or sign another. I'd probably guess the latter.

Duncan could be an option for the 3rd WR spot, if we sign 3. It's early, so I'm sure we have some more guys pop up on our radar through camps and such.

I just don't see Benito going anywhere but Bama. Maybe if our defense shows out like we all know they can, but he's been pretty clear Bama is the sole leader. Of course, we are still in 2014.

I don't know much about Zaire, but he did just attend our camp and we didn't offer. So, he clearly has some question marks.

Javious Bardney is a 4*, I believe, and will be a Rebel. Callaway OL U.

We won't get Nero Nelson.

I really want Keon.

Justin Conner in the 160's is a joke, but I'm more than okay with it. Committed to Ole Miss as a freshman = underrated by the services.

Fletcher Adams now says he has no leader. "They are all about the same really."

@HKellenbergerCL: RT @Riley_Blevins: Is Ole Miss close to landing a package deal from two Tennessee prospects? LINK

quote:

"We've always said it would be so cool to go to the same place. It seemed way too hard to actually happen," Givens said. "So we kind of stopped talking about it for a while.
"You know, he may like one school and be looking for something certain in a program and we could have totally different opinions. We were both liking different schools. We couldn't agree."
They do now.
Givens, a class of 2015 three-star offensive tackle, and Bituli, a 2016 four-star athlete, both call Ole Miss their leaders, and say the idea of being a package deal is back on after separate visits to Oxford this summer.
"We were both just like raving about how much we liked Ole Miss," Givens said. "We didn't go down together or anything and they just treat us like family. We both think it's just a great place."
Both Givens and Bituli cite "feeling comfortable" with Ole Miss' coaching staff as the reason the Rebels lead.
"They just show the most interest in me and I feel very comfortable with really everything about Ole Miss. It's just a good place and it feels like home," Bituli said. "I really like their coaches. They really know what they're doing. They have a plan for the future and it's hard not to get excited about Ole Miss football when you talk to them."
Added Givens: "The entire staff is just down to earth and easy to be around. They make you feel very comfortable. They just give off a good vibe."
Givens, 6-foot-6 and 280 pounds, hopes to commit by the end of summer. He calls Ohio State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt the Rebels' biggest competition.
"I visited Ohio State this summer, and it's a good place. But I like Ole Miss more," said Givens, who grew up a Commodores fan. "I want to maybe get back up to Tennessee, Vanderbilt and maybe Miami and Nebraska. But I'd like to make up my mind soon."
Bituli, on the other hand, is in no rush.
The 6-foot-3, 225-pounder currently has offers from Ole Miss, Tennessee, Louisville and Western Kentucky. He hopes to add to that list before he seriously thinks about making a decision.
"I think Ohio State and Auburn are really close to offering," Bituli said. "I really, really like Ole Miss, but this is a big decision. I want to hear from other schools first so I know I'm doing what's best for me."
Bituli plays linebacker and running back at Nashville Christian, and says Ole Miss hasn't told him where they see him fitting in on the next level.
"Where I'm playing is still pending," Bituli said. "But all I know is the coaches told me they won't redshirt me or anything. They said they see me coming in and making a big impact right away. I liked that a lot. I want to play."
Givens also calls early playing time a big factor in his recruitment. He's not certain how quickly he could see the field at Ole Miss, but says other factors make up for it.
"I just really like everything about Ole Miss to be honest," Givens said. "The campus is great. They have good academics. I like their coaches. It has a great atmosphere. It's going to be a tough school to beat."
