Please come back to our thread, Al. Tell us how good your class is this early. Like every year...

I thought he was joking at first but Engie honestly believes these guys were pushed out to make room for that super elite class that he seems to believe will come every year. Is this all because one elite recruit in Peters said they lead or is it because they are finally getting three stars that other BCS programs want? Maybe I can get him banned with another bet. He seems all juiced up again

We had 20 commits 2 days into summer camp. We were always going to "lose" a few guys. Better OM "flips" them than we drop them. Realistically, where were these guys on our board as of today? I realize we accepted commitments early -- but that was also before Khane Pass, Peters, etc appeared to be leaning our way...

Engie going tard in the paint.

He's coonass with a community college accounting degree. He is not good people. He's not even people.

Bundy is good people. Engie is algae that ruins the bottom of a boat when left in the water too long.

This ban bet with Engie has no positive outcome for State fans. If he wins, we have a better class, but he is on the board. If he loses, y'all have a better class, but we do lose him for a year.

Oh you don't care if we have a better class because y'all beat Houston Nutt when he recruited higher rated classes. Obviously Mullen is much better at evaluating talent and holding onto to it. But no way Freeze is also better than Nutt at evaluating and holding onto the talent, only Mullen is. I mean y'all beat us last year with one Freeze class and 3 Nutt classes, without his best recruits in CJ Johnson, Vince Sanders and Aaron Morris. Even if Freeze continues to out recruit Mullen and form a team full of his recruits, he's an OM coach thus they all recruit/evaluate and have attrition like Nutt did.

Not trying to be a dick. I know your post in this thread was a positive one, just responding to your on the recruiting board Just tired of the same bullshite that stars don't matter because y'all beat nutts higher rated classes and then all of sudden they matter when y'all get them because Mullen is the only coach who can evaluate talent.

So why did you respond to my post on this board?

ETA: You literally just threw so many words in my mouth that I can't even respond to that post...

Because I found it contradictory to what you said here. On the recruiting board you said winning recruiting doesn't matter, but on here losing recruiting would be a bad thing, meaning it does matter

And what words did I put in your mouth? You said you've won 4 out of the last 5 when we out recruited you all of those years (essentially tied in 09, beat us in '11) thus us out recruiting you currently means nothing. That's implying that Freeze, like Nutt cannot evaluate or hold onto talent because that is why you've won 4 out of the last 5. What words did I out in your mouth that you did not imply? The only other angle you could have been implying is that universally, no matter what program or coach, recruiting rankings don't matter. If you believe that then why do you have a losing record every year against teams that out recruit you and a winning record against teams that you out recruit?
