I'm close to finishing an accounting degree and that holds a lot more weight than my finance degree so I want to finish that up and maybe go to grad school

Good job man. I'm finishing all of my basic classes at ICC then transferring to Duke at majoring in Computer Science.

Not sure if it will be relevant by the time you would be done with all of the schooling, but at the moment there is a real shortage of PhD accountants. You would have to work for a few years then get the PhD. But universities are having to pay them a ton of money....like 300k.

Eric that is kind of the plan at the moment. PhD in accounting is my ultimate goal but I've got a lot of work to do before that

Yeah, it would be a long way to go. You will probably end up with a masters and just liking the salary and sticking with that. Market may change by then anyways.
