What about Denzel? Has he said he would change numbers?

I love him, but he hasn't done much this season.

Him and Robert have underwhelmed. I know Robert's been hampered by a hamstring, but watching him get repeatedly embarrassed every time he got in the backfield on Saturday really disappointed me. :(

I could of sworn he was gonna get a sack or huge tfl about 10 times. He was blowing by their Oline but he just couldn't finish. It was sad.

And he is still just a True Freshman. IMO I would rather him be getting past the OLine then missing right now than the other way around.

Because he's splitting time with Bird. He played just about every snap last season. He's been banged up some too.

He's been very impressive for a true freshman. The only issues in his game come from a lack of development.

I know. That doesn't change the fact that he couldn't wrap up.

None of our guys could, though. It wasn't just him. Several players made it to their backfield on Saturday and had opportunities to make plays but didn't and instead we got burned for 5-10 yards. It seems like no one on our team can tackle. I don't know if it's coaching or what, but it's awful.

Missouri 's starters are better than Ole Miss' starters... They are a much deeper team as well... We had chances to make plays and we didn't ... They had chances to make some plays and they did for the most part... That's why they are a top 10 team and we are a fringe top 25 team... I don't get why it's so hard for people to look at things objectively when it comes to college football.

Look, I get that sometimes you just get beat, but it's been an epidemic this season, not just this past Saturday.

The fact that RN is constantly in the backfield should tell you something ...I wouldn't say he has underwhelmed. But that is my opinion.

A couple of tweets from Neal McCready.

quote:

@NealMcCready: Freeze said loss of C.J. Johnson has been detrimental for the rest of the defensive line individually.

@NealMcCready: Freeze said loss of Evan Engram has made Ole Miss' offense more predictable. Said Rebels have to address position in recruiting.

I get it. It would just be nice to see him and everyone else who got back there wrap up every once in a while.

Yeah hopefully we can get enough talent so that losing one or two key players doesn't make us nearly inept.

Losing engram has killed our play calling. We can't make the D accountable for anything over the middle with him out.
