The Latest per 247:

quote:
The very latest with C.J. Hampton as of 5 minutes ago:
1. He is visiting Bama on Saturday for his official. He said he wanted to come for the Mizzou game but he had this official scheduled for a while.
2. He says he will probably make it up to Oxford early next week and attend an Ole Miss practice since school is out.
3. Do not be surprised if he shows up on the MSU visitor list for the Egg Bowl in Starkville. Don't read anything into it if he does.
I have a much better feeling about CJ and his commitment status to Ole Miss after tonight's conversation. Much better. More to come on the front page.

From the sounds of things, the writer on 247, David Johnson, kept reiterating he feels "much much better" about CJ's commitment to Ole Miss than he did before. Said this was always going to be CJ's visit to Bama and that he would be back.
He also believes Adams is down to Florida and Ole Miss and that he wouldn't be surprised if Adams ended up at Ole Miss with CJ.
Tee Shepard's recruitment is looking very good on the Ole Miss front. Expect him to commit to Ole Miss. The main issue is the academics, as stated before. He has to get his grades up by May or he will not qualify.
We are out of it for Roderick Johnson and Damian Mama.
Mystery recruit that will "change the landscape" of the entire class is committed to another SEC school not named Alabama. He "fits a critical need and someone you would expect to make an immediate impact".

Trey Quinn has an OV scheduled with us for the 24th!
I saw this earlier too... I feel like Yancy is trolling LSU fans with this one... I dont really want Trey on campus that weekend unless our coaches really feel like we have a legitimate shot... Of course, LSU's staff and No other coaching staffs in the country want one of their committed kids in Oxford on that weekend.

If both of these guys show up in Oxford, Elston time is going to diminish. Its not that he isn't talented he just has NO ball awareness. In nearly two years he has ZERO INTs.????
