I saw that...pretty cool... Few will know the entire story but one has to assume that Holder has parents/grandparents that set aside $ to pay for his college... Bigham will be eternally grateful I'm sure.

I saw that too and immediately thought about Douglas. He was promised a scholly but we said... "NAH... we'll just give them to 5 other guys instead." I do wish he would've stayed on but obviously its a good sign in Conyers had already passed him on the depth chart.

I think it was stated because people assumed he was much smaller now since he missed so much of summer lifting.

Gross has the kind of motivation and work ethic that I can believe Kiffin when he says he "turned a corner" in the last two weeks. Not being able practice this spring/summer/fall probably put a size 17 boot in his arse.

You're right about that. When Neil thought he was at 242lb, people were asking if he would RS, and he said, "he maybe should if he's that small, but good luck telling that kid he can't get on the field".

Yancy in chat is confirming that we will only take 7 more kids. Only 8 are possible new commits, meaning we would only cut one from the pack and that one is Pittman. He was talking up GT in an article recently so the process may have already been started. Also said we are telling Pack we are only taking one more WR in this class and that is him. We would have taken Sims, but Southern U being his #2 wasnt just being nice, we pulled out. Not saying he wouldnt have ended up at Bama anyway though.
