He probably would have elected to go to State instead if Merlins hadn't gotten a commit from Sandberg. Not saying for sure. This isn't a flame. We were in better shape. But we got the guy we wanted and y'all got a good pickup as well. If Kincade and Buchanan both make it to campus, one of them will transfer, I bet.

I don't see how Buchanan fits that offense. Not a flame, I had a similiar question when Merlins pursued that JUCO idiot that Bundy was pre'ing for.

I don't really get the buchanan thing either, especially since he wasn't necessarily that impressive this past season in highschool.

Could have sworn I saw somewhere that our staff had told Buchanan that if he signed with us we guaranteed we would not take anymore QBs in this class. In any event, would one of these guys be willing to ride the bench and not transfer when the other is named the starter?
