Kailo says..
quote:
"I wanted to see what type of offense they ran and how they prepared and played," Moore said, about what he was keying on during his trip to Ole Miss. I like Coach (Derrick) Nix a lot. He would be easy to work with. I think their offense would be a real good fit for me, but I'm still committed to Mississippi State. Moore brought over a couple of his family members to take in the game-day atmosphere at Ole Miss. "I brought my mom, brother and step dad with me. We all wanted to see what their game day was like over there this year. It was crazy. That was actually my first time to go to the Grove. Everyone recognized who I was. They were trying to get me to change my mind. Everybody just showed me a lot of attention. I can tell they really want me over there. The Grove was crazy. I've never seen anything like that before. Their fans are crazy. I enjoyed myself and so did my family." What did he like most during the trip? "I have to say it was just the way their coaches treated me. They treated me like I was a king or something. They met me in the parking lot when I checked in, and I was the last recruit to leave their facility after the game was over. They coaches had me from the time I arrived until the the time I left. I got to know them a lot better." Moore previously said that he wanted to get to know the new staff at Ole Miss better. Was this a step in that direction? "I thought so. They're very cool and down to earth. They keep it real with you. They told me what to expect if I were to come there and the expectations that would be placed on me if I were to come there." Moore also got to mingle with many of Ole Miss' top recruits at the game. "Me, Montreal Jordan, Ryan Buchanan, Davion Johnson, and Daronte Bouldin all hung out the whole time. I spent a lot of time with Daronte Bouldin. He was just telling me that they were going to run the ball, and I was a guy who would make his job a lot easier. He just told me to follow my heart, and he would love to have me at Ole Miss." Was the Ole Miss trip about what Moore was expecting, better, or worse? "It was a lot better from the past year. Everyone in the past was there just to have fun and now they have fun and watch the game." Did Ole Miss help its chances with this visit? "I don't want to comment on that. I would rather keep that to myself."
