Nope this is all I post on. Thanks though. Wish we had more posts besides me lol. But it helps me too since its a catalog of info I sometimes go back and find stuff to win a discussion lol

Agree. I like this place because it has everything and the formatting is easy to post/read and browse without thousands of nasty pop ups. Simplicity is underrated.
And I like posting and reading politics or off topic stuff. This place has it all and is best formatted for me.
My work is throttling more stuff so its now harder to post stuff during the week work hours.

Agree with the OP sentiment, OU Guy. I really appreciate what you do here. I don't comment a lot but I check this sub several times a day for updates.
I was on the soonerfans/landthieves/dirtburglars train butDB is tiresome. Horrible format and every thread turns into old men arguing with each other. I rarely check that board anymore.
This site has matured to be as efficient as it can be. The amount of traffic this site gets is HUGE when you count all the sub-boards, but never an issue with performance. Format's great for phone or PC. I posted a link on DB when the Sooners board came online and several comments were about "oh that site sucks, they are so childish and immature" I guess because of the trash talk on tRant. I always thought the trash talk was funny, there are some expert trolls here and I thought it was ironic because all they do is argue with each other over stupid shite. Maybe its better they don't migrate over here...

What I’ve learned is every board has trash talking and trolls. Every single one. But most boards then try and over moderate things and give power to mods who were likely failures in grade and high school and let power go to their head.
One thing here its very very rare that mods get involved. I can’t even tell you who they are. These many SECR and TD boards just let people work it out or ignore it and it actually works out better. They understand it's like people at a bar just shooting the breeze and BS each other.
Its rare to find a board with fans of all teams. Most boards are just rah rah talking nice about their own team and like said end up arguing with each other. This place has fans of every team and it makes discussions and even trollers interesting.
Sports is great but I enjoy other life discussion too, which this place has all that.
I am one who hates what most any website has become with all the pop up ads and formatting. I recently wanted to check out Ford pickups so went to local Ford websites and it was just horrible. Everyone had a pop up bot fake person asking if you wanted to talk. No, I would have called if I wanted to talk idiot lol. I just want to browse in peace. Then pop ups with this and that and its just flat out hard to really browse in peace like the old internet. And every business is like that I just used Ford as an example.
These posting boards don’t have that. Its refreshing. Also, if you want to know anything about a product you can post a thread on OT board and get pages of responses to then read and learn about it as someone/s here has had experiences with it. Then can form your opinion.
These boards are not for the weak though and thats good.

Compared with the high level of traffic on this site, the few ads here could only somewhat supplement what it must cost to keep this place alive. Chicken either has deep-arse pockets or something else to fund it.
