Welp, we lost in game 7 of WCF. Miracle 3 in game 1 plus Chet no show was series difference. Now we have to see what Presti does in off season.
Sorber never played and was 1st rounder
JDub was hurt all season mostly
Ajay got hurt in playoffs
Those 3 alone get us past SA. Only stating this for next year as it’s not as bad as some might think. We don’t need to trade away all the draft capital built up over years for one player either.
I recall we brought in Perk as a last piece after our first playoff loss years ago to Lakers. And it didn’t help as league changed. Can’t knee jerk reaction with Chet either. He’s good vs 28 other teams but was a no show vs SA.
We have 2 first round picks and a 2nd. Not enough room so Presti has a lot to work with and a lot of decisions to make.
My guess Dort is gone. And some bench players. Cason moves into Dort spot.
Still had a great season and sustainability is something OKC strives for. We’ll be back.
And mark my words the narrative about Wemby will change. He was a fun anomaly story at first but his antics are worse than other stars before him. It happened to SGA and will happen to Wemby. Thing is, you can’t find any SGA playing dirty but Wemby actually does. The backlash will be fun to watch.

Lu Dort on his upcoming team option: "The conversation hasn’t happened yet. I have a lot of trust in this organization, in Sam (Presti). Really grateful for all the stuff he did for me to this point. I want to stay here. This organization, this city shaped me as a player. My main goal is to stay here."
