It is. And it gets cold there and snows there.
I really don’t see much of a difference anymore between here and there.
Even when I was living in NC there were times where it got into single digits

About half an hour NNW of Denver. the weather in CO is one of the strangest I’ve been around. It has hot and cold spells like during the early spring and fall in the south, but the lows go way lower and very rarely did it go 95+

Oh CO
You said North so I just assumed the north east

A very large ranch in the middle of South Texas near big bend. Fortified with a huge fence and stocked with my own private wild life and livestock. Live off the land. With a helicopter to get around from place to place efficiently.

I always think about getting a place on the Coast or even up the Jordan or the Pascagoula, but the thought of having to screw with hurricanes, etc. bothers me.
I'd rather have a little cabin on a river in the Ozarks, where the water runs clear and clean and the smallmouth bass are in abundance.
