Why is anal probing considered the worst thing aliens can do to you?

When facing a hostile, extraterrestrial species with advanced technology, people think probing is the worst thing they can and will do to you? Seems strange

People tend to be a bit gun shy about things getting stuck up their behinds.
I always did find it odd that these alien beings can traverse the unimaginable distances of outer space but can't get a biological readout without the space version of a rectal thermometer.
Though it is possible that we only get visited by alien kink enthusiasts who get off on molesting humans. We might be like that extra seedy strip bar where the dancers give "extras" to the customers out in public.

My thoughts exactly. I don't think the Aggies even would be up for a millions-of-lightyears trip just to stick something up someone's butt

I son’t think it is the worst thing they could do or have done to us as aliens. It does make sense for them to enter through a hole in our body though. I suspect they would or do go through all of our holes.
