Not reading through 12 pages but I just saw this thread and I don't believe it's a race thing. I believe it's a poverty thing. Just so happens minorities are more likely to be poor.

True. There are good people in shitty situations and people that are just crazy and evil no matter what. It's just much more likely to fall into crime when you grow up on welfare living in a project or trailer park.

More crime is committed by minorities because they are a huge mechanism in the illegal drug trade. Poor folks see a chance to make good money without having to climb the ladder. We saw this with ethnic groups in the first prohibition.
Both prohibitions (alcohol and drugs) are utter failures and create more crime than they eliminate.

It is more of a poverty/socioeconomic issue than it is race. If you had place any common black criminal and had taken him out of the ghetto when he was young, I guarentee you that he would be a productive member of society. It's all about dealing with the hand that life gave you. Some people just deal with it the wrong way.
