Who here believes in UFO's and or extraterrestrial beings that have visited earth?

I am not trying to ridicule believers or anything. I am just curious after reading the Rogan thread on the other OT. Does anyone believe that any government in the world could really successfully keep it away from the public? The only reason I think that they would want it kept secret is if they were attempting to weaponize technology found on a downed craft but wouldn't it be more beneficial to bring in the public sector to reverse engineer FTL travel because there isn't a biological being out there willing to pack up for mission of 10,000 or more years on a conventional engine.
My personal belief is that we are alone in a created universe but I haven't closed my mind to an ET presence somewhere in the universe. Maybe God created multiple civilizations, perhaps millions or billions of planets with intelligent life yet he created the cosmos and the laws that govern it so that we could never interact with each other. Maybe somewhere in a galaxy far, far away other beings are having this same topic on their version of social media.
I am very aware that some of you don't believe in a created universe and I respect that I don't care to debate it (another day perhaps). I am curious about your belief in the UFO conspiracy.

Not only have they, but modern humans were propagated by a species known as the Anunnaki from a planet called Nibiru.
There's also been multiple species here continuously since at least the late 40s and working with the government since Eisenhower signed the Greada treaty in the 50s

Heard it tossed around somewhere I think. Is this really a thing? How could beings from a planet outside our solar system create life on a planet within it and wouldn't some of them be left behind to govern it?

It's not outside of our solar system, it's just on such a long elliptical orbit that it takes thousands of years it orbit and come back into range of the inner solar system.
NASA has admitted themselves that such a planet might exist. LINK
quote:
Caltech researchers have found mathematical evidence suggesting there may be a "Planet X" deep in the solar system. This hypothetical Neptune-sized planet orbits our Sun in a highly elongated orbit far beyond Pluto. The object, which the researchers have nicknamed "Planet Nine," could have a mass about 10 times that of Earth and orbit about 20 times farther from the Sun on average than Neptune. It may take between 10,000 and 20,000 Earth years to make one full orbit around the Sun.
We were created as a worker race for them (splicing their DNA with that of homo erectus, hence the missing link) to work mines. There's no need to leave some of them behind to govern us for such an extended time. Some of them also thought of us as abominations and wanted to destroy us or didn't think we would survive left to our own devices.

As big as the universe is, I can't imagine us being the only creatures alive in it.

Me. Figured that out years ago.

Have we been visited by an alien race? I don't know, but the odds are against it. The universe, after all, is a fairly darn big place.
There are some theories out there about why we haven't been visited though.
There is, for lack of a better phrase, the race to beat an Extinction Event theory. Basically once a sentient species develops agriculture they are in a race to develop the capability to expand off their home planet before something happens to wipe them out. I think this is also called the eggs in a basket theory.
It could be something they do to cause this event. A no holds barred atomic war or they could pollute their planet so much it becomes nonviable. It could be a natural extinction event, like your friendly neighborhood Dinosaur Killer decides to drop by for a visit or a nearby sun goes supernova and charbroils the planet. It could be a combination of various events all happening at once.
This is a bit of a downer theory because the obvious conclusion is that we haven't met aliens because they all failed their race against the clock so to speak.
A new theory is the "first one in the pool" theory. This theory postulates that the first species to develop true interstellar flight capabilities will expand throughout the Universe and wipe out all other intelligent life they find.
Its not an unreasonable theory. Generally speaking the more intelligent a species is the more ill tempered and dangerous they are. We know that humanity is not keen on competing species as an example.
Why haven't we been wiped out by an expanding alien civilization? Well, they might not have reached us yet. Or we might be the first ones in the pool and become a galactic Extinction Event for any sentient species unfortunate enough to come across us.
Personally my beliefs aren't quite as much of a downer. I suspect that species have achieved the capability to colonize other planets only to gradually fade away. All things pass in the fullness of time after all. We may, if we are lucky, one day find traces of an ancient race that was the first one in the pool but thoughtfully didn't pee in it.

Yeah I believe so. Look at how unadvanced we are as humans, yet we are still able to search and locate planets that we believe to be habitable for life. Why is it so hard to think that other more intelligent life couldn't do the same, yet actually have the technology to make it to the planet? The Earth is over 4 billion years old with the universe 14+ billion. Humans have only been on this flat Earth for 6019 years, so imagine a civilization on another planet that has existed for thousands of years more than us, or even up to millions of years. They absolutely could have spotted Earth, which is one damn sexy planet that doesn't just go unnoticed when it is spotted. Imagine if our technology continues to improve and what we humans could be capable of in another 1,000 if somehow our society could actually keep progressing forward.
One must be extremely ignorant, stupid or brainwashed to think that Earth is the only planet to have life. It is a very egotistical thing to believe too. And most people who don't believe in alien life usually do so because of some book written by primitive peoples over thousands of years ago. Talk about being brainwashed and stupid.

Yes, I believe in them.
I've seen it brought up several places that the reason the government/s haven't come clean on the subject is the supposed fear of a complete paradigm shift that they can't predict/control. That's not my opinion on why we haven't been told -- That's just me repeating what I've seen thrown around.
Unacknowledged on Netflix is a interesting place to get started. Also, Behold A Pale horse by Bill Cooper is a good listen on Audible during your commute.

At the very least I believe aliens are aware of our existence.

Here's my only problem with this theroy. Are we sure lifeforms from outside Earth have bodies adaptable to even exist in this planet? I feel like other life would be more adaptable to their planet with their own functions.

So you just confirmed there is other life out there

I always take a reductionist approach when considering extraterrestrial life or the continued evolution of intelligent life on our planet. It’s my firm conclusion that biological life on any planet is not capable of leaving its world. It’s simply too closely adapted to conditions where it arose.
I think the destiny of a biological, intelligent species is to create an artificial intelligence that isn’t burdened by the baggage of evolution. It can be tailored to space travel.
It will, of course, require a biological species that doesn’t feel threatened by the potential of its creation to become far more intelligent than its creator. This factor doesn’t seem to be holding humans back.
We are in a runaway mode of developing A.I. Some prominent personalities have thrown out warnings about their ideas of dangers but, on the whole, A.I. is becoming second nature to rising generations of humans.
We are not a homogeneous species so there can never be a concerted effort to regulate the development of A.I. world wide. If it can be done, someone will do it.
I think this may be the case for other sentient species as well. Evolution is the same everywhere and survival of the fittest will surely produce the same kind of biological intelligence everywhere; an aggressive, mostly selfish species that uses technology to secure the domination of its world.

Are there aliens? I don't know. It's possible but, I feel if there were, we would've been paid a visit by them, and we would know.
I have seen some theories that UFO sightings being reported by the military is part of getting the general public ready for them. If you think they're real, you expect them, if you expect them, you don't freak out when they show up and/or try to kill them
Naturally of course there are interdimensional theories out there too. Among these, aliens aren't aliens, but demons.
As I said though I don't know. Would be cool but also terrifying if there is intelligent life out there that has developed faster than light travel. One would expect such a species to have violent tendencies similar to our own

The question was whether they have visited earth. And I'm saying I'm not sure they would have the Bodies to be able to. And would they have enough iq to be able to do so.
