I've watched all of the Naruto, Bleach and One Piece animes so far. They have alot of filler shite, but I suffered through. I was really digging Attack on Titan for awhile.
I watched an anime the other week called K (on Hulu plus). It was a little cheesy at times like most anime, but made you think a little.

I think you should at least let the 7 year old watch Spongebob. It is nowhere near as bad as Ren and Stimpy was. I remember there's an entire episode based around Stimpy masturbating where he puts shite in his belly button claiming it tickles, even going so far as inserting a jack hammer inside of himself. Thanks to the magic of pool jets, even at 7 I understood the subject of that episode. I'm shocked my parents let me watch that one.

Kids watch Spongebob and Teen Titans Go. I can tolerate either. Scooby Doo gets in the mix there as well as Tom and Jerry.
Personally, the all time best is Bugs Bunny and Looney Tunes on a saturday morning. Thats what we watched when I was a kid.

I got my son into the original Ninja Turtles cartoons from the 80s/90s. Got him some more seasons for Christmas.
