The issue begins to arise when most jobs become automated, all parts of manufacturing, delivery, warehouses, repair, etc.
You wind up with a lot of people without a job. People need to be able to put food on the table and it becomes difficult if you take away their jobs and they're forced to go get more education to have a chance of getting another job.
I read an article awhile back about how some company is using an AI to help build a bridge and another is using one to help build planes. If you get to the point where the AI can do stuff like that themselves it displaces even more people like engineers, and then you have to find something to do with a lot of out of work people. They would possibly have to get more education to get another job that might wind up being automated later.
One of the depressing things about the future I think but, that may just be me. There is a bright side to it of course, advanced AI and robotics means production increases and in theory we could accomplish things never before deemed possible.

This is the only realistic robotic delivery system. Of course, they'll have to be taught to tear the heads off of interfering humans.
