McCain is just an establishment politician, who may as well have a D beside his name. A lot of R's should today, with their votes to extend the Patriot Act, among other things.

I couldn't have guessed that.

I dont have a need to pay attention to things that have no affect on my life.

How does a degree from anywhere prove one is an intelligent individual?

Like I said, someone who holds degrees from two Ivy League schools and the UofC is smarter than someone who couldnt handle University of Idaho Coure De Arlene campus.
Generally speaking I would rather have a Governor than a community organizer anyday. Look at the mess we are in.
An Ivy league education sounds good, but look at who has screwed up our government and financial sectors the worst. Not folks from "normal" colleges.

I think she's a nice enough lady that clearly wasn't ready for the national spotlight. I was prepared to vote for McCain in 2008 until he selected her as his VP running mate. While I don't think she's stupid, I think she says a lot of stupid stuff to rally the masses. Maybe that makes her smart and her followers stupid, I don't know. it is somewhat fascinating how polarizing she is.
all of this

Such as when he articulated in the 2012 debates, ridiculing the notion that Russia was still a foreign foe and posed no threats? Or that the terrorist attack in Bengahzi was because of a video? Or that the IRS scandals, was just a couple of rouge folks?
I didn't say Obama has never said something stupid, nor been wrong on an issue. Generally speaking, he is very good at articulating his points. If you can't see that you are just too blinded by your bias against him.

When you get your info from SNL, I'm not surprised. I never said she was MENSA though, only that she was smarter than Obama and Biden.
I haven't watched SNL since Phil Hartman was on there. And I'm not going to even try to change your mind. You asked why someone would think Obama and/or Biden are smarter than Palin, and I gave you one small example. There are many more.

And how many have been disastrous for the country, vs good for it?

He's also failed to articulate his points many times. Ever see his bumbling without a teleprompter when he is trying to address a large audience. It's laughable, how inarticulate he can be as well.
Since articulation is intelligence, what does this say about him?
go ahead and jump to the 3 minute mark, where he's lipsynching a speech. He's the Milli Vanilli President.

You think that list of schools is a good argument as to why Obama is smarter than Palin?

When its Harvard, Columbia, and the U of Chicago vs the University of Idaho Cour De Arlene, yes.
But I get that most of yall are southern supercons who hate Obama and no matter what that isnt changing.
Really looking forward to the next 8 years of Hillary. Can the republicans get madder?

Agreed. Not sure how anyone could disagree but would really be interested to hear their reasoning?

I'm not a southerner or a conservative and I don't care for him. I voted for him the first time around too.

I don't think Obama was any more qualified than Palin, honestly.
Being president isn't about being the smartest person or best-qualified.
