My family is pretty. Lots of good German/English genes and a smidge of eastern European. Tall, blonde, etc.
Even our gingers are good looking. They turn out more auburn without many freckles.
Most people have a chance at being somewhat attractive with decent dental health and un-fattiness. Which means in the south there are a lot of fuglies. But our hotties are pretty hot.

I come from an attractive family and most of my friends and people I've willingly associated with throughout my life have also been attractive. So the plight of the ugly person isn't something that crosses my mind often.
