I'm fat and ugly, but I'm married, so at least my wife finds me attractive.
I am really smart, and surprisingly athletic so that counts for something. As far as how it's affected my life, I'd say that it's prevented me from being an arrogant prick, ever having to worry about an STD, and generally being liked by everyone that's ever met me. Hope this helps your academic pursuits in the field of psychology

Don't really have any negative experiences, most of the time it ends up as anegative for anyone I'm competing against (whether that be research, business, or sports) as I'm almost always underrated, and then get even more praise heaped upon me for being surprising. Being underrated is probably my greatest skill. It's one of the ways that I wound up marrying a woman far, far out of my league.

You have a point. I do tend to think less of ugly people without realizing it, if I think of them at all.
