Stringer Bell is the man.

Normally don’t watch Bond (okay I don’t at all) but would definitely watch a Bond movie if he was it

I prefer to make fun of their academics/if they’re inbred/ or their financial standing.

I don't mean it as an insult at all. I meant it literally. A lot of folks get turned off by that stuff so I put that out there sorta as a disclaimer.

I know many people who refuse to watch Brokeback Mountain because there was a gay sex scene. Lol. (Fantastic Movie btw)

My point was sorta meant to be like, "no matter what you've heard about the gay stuff or how you feel about it, the show is worth watching."

If you can get over all the OTHER sappy romance bullshite in there too that is.

It's not for everyone, but it's one of my favorite shows.

They're not even good at it. None of it stings, it isn't objectively funny, it's just really really low quality trolling.

yea my bad. just assumed based on how it goes on this site.

I mean we got 70 year old men saying Lulz and "ur gay"

Reminds me of OZ the way you're saying it.

That got pretty intense. Great show though and I guess that's how it is in prison (most the times it was the bible thumping ones too... hmmmm)

Oh, Stringer Bell reminds me of another show (although I don't think this character is actually played by that dude, but looks a lot like him). Black Mirror is a good show for anyone that's into dystopian science fiction. Like, really good.

They have a new episode out called Bandersnatch. Pretty awesome. It's a choose your own adventure interactive show. Neat concept.

But that whole series is solid, IMO. The creators have taken technologies that are currently in development today to show us what can happen if we aren't careful. Truly frightening stuff in a lot of cases, but there are a few feel good type stories in there as well.

Definitely before it's time.

Think it was HBO's first show.

A lot of characters from the wire in it.

Doesn't sting you and I, but I know it stings others.

Oh yeahhhh that’s him and you mentioned Luther- he just gets better with age.

Did I hear they were doing another season or Luther or maybe even like a one two hour thing or something? Could have dreamed that...

Actually, I don't know what the frick I'm talking about. He wasn't in Black Mirror and I don't know why I was thinking he was in one of those episodes. It was someone else and they don't really look like him at all.

ETA: I was thinking of Star Trek: Beyond.

Craziest Black Mirror episode: You guys see that one where the soldiers are having to fight the zombies? Holy shite, that episode fricked me up for real.

As far back as when I was in the military they were creating these smart, intuitive uniforms for soldiers to use. It isn't a far stretch at all to imagine them being able to alter people's faces so it makes it easier for soldiers to kill folks.

That is powerful stuff.

How can clothes be "intuitive". All I can picture is a Private attempting to wear pants as a blouse which I never saw but wouldn't have surprised me.
