Monty PYthon's Flying Circus. I love this show and one of the few things that makes me laugh no matter my mood. Also, new season of MST3K is on netflix, it's up next for me.

GOAT comedy troope. I remember fondly many of the sketches from that show. Some of my personal faves were the one where all the runners in the Olympic games took off from the starting line in all different directions, the Greek vs German philosophers soccer match, the dead parrot bit, the argument bit where the two guys argued vehemently over what actually constitutes an argument, and of course the Spanish Inquisition stuff.

My favorite thing of theirs though is The Life of Brian. One of the funniest movies ever made, IMO

Well, it's a tough task. The show has a lot of ridiculous romance shite in it, but there is also a lot of war.

Mostly romantic stuff though.

The storytelling is strong though. Especially in season 4.

I'll ask again... why is this "non manly" and "homo?"

I started watching Safe a couple nights ago- pretty good so far. Dexter with an English accent takes a minute to get used to but I think he pulls it off pretty well.

I watched You last week- kinda weird but I liked it too.

yea didn't see anything "not manly" or "homo"

Didn't finish as I'm not really into that kinda shite (weird science fiction war shows that take place in the 1800s)

but don't know why anyone would make fun of you for watching it.

Oh, I don't concern myself with ridicule. I get plenty of that on the reg around here. I welcome it, in fact.

But, I take it you didn't get far enough along in the show to see all the homosexual rape and torture bullshite that happens. It's sorta "homo." And I say that with no malice in my heart for anyone. Gay or otherwise.

Outlander is extremely homosexual. It's even on the show's website and the writers have said it on twitter multiple times. Talk about denial.

Every character on that show wants to have sex with James Fraser. Even the dudes.

Yea just ignore IBG, he's an agent of the homosexual mafia and is denying it in an attempt to gaslight you and make these themes seem normal.

Regarding this subject- my all time sexiest character on a show (aside from Stringer Bell) would be Oberyn Martell and that sexy mf was as bisexual as one could be but that character grwwwwwwwlllll...

Well, I don't think there's anything abnormal with gay sex. But that show certainly takes it to new levels.

That one scene was like watching a gay snuff film. Not that I would know, mind you. It's just what I would imagine a gay snuff film to look like.

I'm pretty secure in my manhood though. And my love for the ladies ( ;) to all the females up in here), so I can still appreciate the show for what it is without getting all weirded out by the homo stuff.

It truly is a great show. In season 4 they have come to America. To the North Carolina wilderness. Of course, it was filmed in Europe, but they took care to place indigenous plant species in the shots so you think they might actually be in North Carolina, so it's all good.

Great storytelling there as they have a total of 3 time travelers in alternating storylines all searching for one another 200 years in the past. Neat stuff if you're like me and like to pay attention to the writing as much as the cool shite like scalping injuns and whatnot.

Game of Thrones pisses me off. I would have stopped watching that shite last season if I hadn't already invested so much time up to this point.

I thought it was gonna be in the running to unseat Breaking Bad as my favorite show ever, but the show runners ruined that shite last season with a quickness. And what's the deal making everyone wait like two years so they can air only 4 more episodes? Dumb.

You can tell that they're flying by the seat of their pants. The writing has gone to shite now that Martin has (apparently) decided he isn't going to finish the books.

They should have waited until the books were finished before making the show. They're just racing from plot point to plot point at this point without any subtext at all. Drives me crazy because the first 4 seasons or so of that show were absolutely terrific.

Okay i life never watched it or heard it.

Just don’t like when people use “gay” as an insult , we’re more creative than that

Yes, it did take a bit of a dip which may not have stood out so much if it wasn’t so epically good the first seasons. I still liked it but...
