Ohhh I misread. I thought he was saying the airline industry was his field, as in he had aviation training and all that jazz

Congratulations, You have reading comprehension problems. What part of This is my field, followed by comments regarding aircraft maintenance and it's documentation, then negative remarks regarding dei would make ANY sane person believe dei is this guy's field?
I am a mechanic. I hold an FAA Airman certificate with both Airframe and Powerplant privileges. I work for a major airline in aircraft quality control and thank God every day for this position. I also thank Him that my passengers are boxes because they don't whine. I began my Aviation career in the United States Navy when Ronnie was president. Nine years of the A7-E and F/A-18 both ashore and afloat. The closest thing to dei then was having both a male and female multiple for advancement, but that didn't matter to me. Women weren't allowed on carriers yet and couldn't be an AQ because our sea tours were ALWAYS forward deployed.
No, dei is NOT my field.
