Unbiased news sources?

The news, not the opinion pages.

GurleyGirl is basically correct in this. I spent several years in the news media industry. It's rare not to find a leftward bias, as journos skew overwhelmingly to the left(as much as 87%). There are also a much smaller number of outlets that skew heavily right, but not many. If you can find any of the old guard that still pursue ethical non-biased journalism, you're doing well.

Journalistic integrity began to be replaced by journalistic activism at an increasingly rapid pace over the past fifteen years or so. It's a shame to see the paragons of the industry become shrill echo chambers for politically motivated *writers. (I refuse to call them journalists.)

This is true; but Fix does a better job of giving equal time to left leaning views than CNN or MSNBC do

CNBC is more centrist (biz side of NBC)

I agree but if they were really smart they would realize that roughly half of their customers don't agree with the political persuasion of the "smart" people. So are the "smart" people trying impose their ideology on the dumbasses? Google and their ilk are highly successful due to tried and true Capitalism. Their end game would likely make them a ward of the state and less successful at least in terms of profit margin. Then again maybe they are true believers and are playing their political games for the benefit of all of mankind including the dumbasses. Be careful what you wish for when government aka big brother is determining winners and losers instead of consumers making choices about competing products......

we need to start using the synonym for capitalism. Moneyism. And moneyism is tried but not true. It comes in different flavors in different nations and each has its pluses and minuses. In merica you have balls to the wall uncontrolled moneyism. It has a lot of minuses. Like uncontrolled greed being in control of everything. Speculative stock market crashes. Financial market meltdowns every decade or so. The people responsible taking their hundreds of millions and running. Wealthy corrupt lobbyists buying less wealthy but no less corrupt politicians. And mindless sheep who for some reason literally worship all of that.

Yep, tried and true.

Google is not successful because of moneyism. Moneyism is successful because of smart innovators like Google. Who tend to be progressive. Go figure.
