Since we are talking about skin color, I have a question I have thought about for awhile now and can't ask seriously to my black friends
Can black people get more tan? I mean if you are on the beach for an entire day in the sun will your skin get darker?
Also, if you are out in the sun do you feel hotter than people with lighter skin? Like when someone is wearing a black tshirt and the shirt gets hot?

Believe it or not, yes. As dark as I am, I can still tan. Never forget the look on my wife's face the first time she saw me with my shirt off and realized I had a farmer's tan

Nah, doesn't work like that. Not a bad question, though

Wow what a question I can't even respond
SNIC I feel bad for you on some of these.

These aren't questions I can just pop into conversation with friends that are black. I'm not smooth enough to try and risk those friendships
So I am going to assume that the answer to "Can you get sunburned" is a yes. Just want to cover my bases with this line of questioning
I was curious because that would suck but I mean logically it seemed like a possibility.

My mom gets sunburned a lot. I just turn a reddish brown, and I never have to worry about applying sunblock.

Nah, it's cool. Nothing really offends me online so you never have to worry about that with me

Yup

No, I get your line of reasoning. Hadn't thought about it that way, though

Haven't used sunscreen a day in my life

Some of my siblings do, though. It's weird, I'm the oldest and darkest-complexioned in my family. My sibs' skin tone almost uniformly gets lighter as you go down the line

I feel bad for my wife, though. I try not to be insensitive, but I'll do things without thinking like open the sunroof in my truck and forget that her pale skin will fry. I'm getting better though

It's switched for me. I'm lighter than my brother, even though I'm not considered "light skinned".

That's funny

I was perusing the thread where you were talking about Greek life at Bama. A lot in there I didn't know about (even though I've had extended family attend the school). Hope to make it over there for a game someday

You're coming to CStat, right?

I'll take all the help I can get
Got a shaving waiver for the air force so I'm growing it out as much as they'll allow and it still looks sad as hell

yeah I know how you feel. I believe I have some ancestry in Spain if you were to look at my facial hair. Just sad...
So what did you end up doing to the a-hole with the sharpie? I figure with the guys I work around that would've been an easy arse kicking..

probally the later.
I have this one guy at work that likes to pick at me a lot, but didn't realize I have nearly 10 years experience in Judo. He tried this stupid thing where he rubs his fingers into his palm in one of his hands around his waist and if you look he'll try to slug you in the face. I didn't know what he was doing the first time, so when it set up I ended up throwing his arse to the ground when he tried taking a swing.
Guess it shocked him. Well it shocks most people who try to play around like that, I'm just not into it it.
Before I left today I did the same thing to him and he started running when he looked.
he thought I was going to take a swing at him. I couldn't help but laugh.

Judo doesn't help unless he attacks you though. If you attacked I would probably store your first throw a Yuko or Ipon. But the Ipon only if back landed flat.
