A French prog rock band from the 70s. Their lead singer/drummer Christian Vander created his own language called Kobaïan, that was spoken by the people on planet Kobaïa.

This is a live rendition of their best album, Mëkanïk Dëstruktïw Kömmandöh, otherwise known as MDK. Enjoy.

I feel like this isn't the same magma as is the destroyer of worlds.

Magma, hear my prayer.

Engulf this fool in a fiery flare.

Smother his lungs with smoke.

Force him to emulate the sounds of his mother,

Gag and choke.

He thinks of you to be French,

Something witty about stench.

If you listen to the album you might think differently.

I won't apologize for prog. It's my favorite genre.

Short for progressive rock, it peaked in the early 70s with bands like Yes, King Crimson, and of course Magma.

Progressive metal is better, imo

Dream theater, opeth, porcupine tree, etc.

Never heard magma though.

Really? Is there some brother who can witness to this man? He must see the one true light and step into the warm embrace of Magma.

dead money, you poor, lost soul, if you accept Magma into your heart and let its warmth consume your being, you will no longer be "dead" money. Nay, you shall be very much "living" money!

No one comes to the Magma except through Rg, or ST, his holy priest.

Magma be praised
