He use to be alright, but we had a Tornado go through some friends of mine's property and it was confirmed by local authoritys that night.

He didn't break into the good wife to report it, so he stood by it was strong winds and not a tornado.

NWS confirmed it, he denied for a little while then back tracked and said it spun up so quick there was no way to give warning.

The ABC affiliate broke into programming to follow the storm and gave everyone in that area plenty of notice about the risk.

Hail sucks but Obviously it's much better than some other things

Also it's always seemed to me a storm that produces a lot of hail usually doesn't produce tornados

We get hail here in the Ozarks with most all our storms. I've had my shingles replaced by my insurance two times in six years.

Man, its about to storm, first I lost my local channels, not the national.

Oh the joys of having a dish.

I've got Dish also and I switch off the HD channel and I usually don't lose signal.

Do you have an iPad? I have the Live Chasing app that's pretty solid and also the weather radio app

I lose all local channels during times like this.

Weather channel is back on so it must not be too bad.

No iPad, I prefer a good ole laptop.

I don't really gripe about Dish much, because I had Cox up here for two years and it was worse than satellite for some reason.

Cable isn't available where I live, and I live in a wooded area which doesn't help.

It use to not be a big deal because I could switch over the the antenna, but now I need to get a converter box and digital antenna, but never remember to do so.
