Let it be a free for all. No more recruiting, no more national signing day, no more scholarships, end this commitment/decommit shite. Players go where they want and have benefactors pay for school with NIL money. Once they register for school they must stay until the season is over.
Get a GM like Luck is with Stanford to coordinate it. It is a pro league, run it like a pro league. NIL donators are the owners, GM, coaching staff.
Follow CBB rules, turn pro after 1 year of school.
It is all going to come crashing down at some point.

Not reminiscent, successful. Kennesaw St had 45 wins from 2017-2019 and 2021. 2020 was the Covid season and only played 5 games(4-1). The successful Dakota teams run the ball and play good defense. That will win championships. Lindsey Scott at Nichols or Cole Kelly at SLU will not come around any longer with easy FBS transfers and NIL money.
As far adaption, I doubt McNeese has much NIL money, unless Will Wade wants to share his budget

I don’t understand why so many FCS schools want to move to FBS. I could understand if the G5 had their own playoff for a championship but playing for a conference championship and the New Orleans seems like a let down. The reason McNeese and NLU won championships was because the conference was competitive. Same for Furman and Ga Southern from the Southern Conference. That is why the Dakotas are so good.

Transfers are different now. In the past, FBS transfers could only transfer to FCS to play immediately. That is no longer the case. It makes getting the better players harder. You can’t run spread offenses if you don’t have the QB to throw it. QBs that can throw will go to one of the many FBS schools that can pay them. Have to run your offense to talent that is available. A lot of smaller class high schools in LA run wing T and have running QBs. McNeese should change to a triple option team and recruit those players. It is not pretty but it has been successful. Ga Southern built championship teams like this, Kennesaw St built their program doing this (prior to stupidly moving to FBS).

They need to do the same as old Rangers stadium in Dallas. Fix it up, put a field for high school teams to play. Rodeo used to be there, put it back. If they fix it, they MUST but the old home run lights back up.

I went to USL. I never liked the name change, never liked the move to FBS. The old Southland Conf with USL, Tech, NLU, Northwestern, McNeese made for great games in football and basketball.

Like others dated a Baptist ministers daughter. We were both 18. Smoke, drank, and was not shy about sex. Fortunately she was not batshit crazy at that time
