After that one rotation came through batesville another one is going through right now directly behind it, unsure if there's anything with it

Dang, do ya'll have basements up in that part to seek shelter?

You would be getting into "no man's land" up there as far as TV, Sikeston or Popular Bluff MO is the next biggest town I can think of that is close to the area, not sure if they are in the Memphis market or not.

I was in Tuscaloosa 3 years ago and now this. I hate this date. God bless Arkansas. My heart breaks seeing this.

Very few homes are built with basements in Arkansas for a variety of reasons.
Community storm shelters are available if you do not have one at your home.
They now open these shelters earlier, use to be only if there was a NWS Warning, now they will open them if there is any chance of a Tornado.

Eastern Arkansas it's rare to have a basement. I've always been told because of the water table being so high here but who knows. Storm shelters are pretty common in my area tho.

Yep, we have a big thunderstorm coming towards Fayetteville. Hopefully nothing too bad. I hear the thunder now.

It appears to me that Jonesboro is in WMC's (NBC-Memphis) coverage area as they have it in their little map in the bottom right corner of the screen with the tornado warning highlighted. Unfortunately it appears they don't give enough of a frick about Jonesboro to interrupt regular programming for it though, which I think is a shame

Looks like it will come up 62 into f'ville, could spin up quick, some rotation is in it and it hasn't hit the air in AR yet.

It's unlike Dave Brown to not interrupt coverage as much as humanly possibly.

In my area it is too expensive labor extensive to dig out all the rock for a basement under the house verses a safe room or small storm shelter put into the ground.
