Winds have been strong. I lived in bluff park on April 27th 2011 and we didn't get hit by a tornado but 100mph straight line winds went through at 4am that morning and caused more damage than any storm I've seen in bluff park and I lived there my whole life

frick. This thing just recycled and came back stronger and tighter. It's 11 minutes out right now.

Just heard my first rumblings of thunder here in Auburn. Don't see a lot of Tornado activity in the southern portion of the storm so I hope it stays that way.

Just got back up to my apartment, went to the basement when I thought we were getting a direct hit. My Apartment is in Highland Park in B'ham, which is to the immediate southeast of downtown. UAB West took a direct hit. Hope everyone is OK.
