Culturally Kentucky is as southern as any other state in the South. Geographically, we are mid-east. So is Missouri. To say that either is mid-west is just wrong.

I consider the Eastern third of Texas as the South. All points west are the Southwest.

Allow me to reiterate:

Texas is Texas.

Tejas es Tejas.

Texas ist Texas.

Yes and Tennessee is Tennessee, but is still a part of a region.

I lived in Texas for years. There is quite a bit of difference between Texarkana and El Paso. Just saying.

This bolsters my point

I've lived all over the state, myself. Texas really is it's own thing, geographically and culturally.

A common state that allowed Texas to be a state. You better show some respect for daddy. It's a shame that Texans have no balls and are now giving back what Tennesseans fought and died for.

Texas is basically an extension of Oklahoma. They're not really noteworthy enough to talk about as much as we are.

I almost went for that kind of reply, but I busted out a Tony Parker spin move to avoid it in the lane and then finished at the rim

Texas is the best and to hell with the rest.

There are 5 distinctly different regions in TX and no other state has that distinction.
