No worries. I just wanted to clarify.

I haven't watched any of his other presentations, but there wasn't much to argue with in his linked video in this thread.

Hence why none of the useful idiots can actually make an argument.

I could argue that the media isn't trying to push any "embedded" agenda.

They are just using the time tested tatic that controversy sells.

I think this is partially true. But if you go to the J-schools, you'll find plenty of teachers who would've killed to be part of the Institute for Social Research. And that seeps out in their presentation, ultimately.

So the rank and file news reporters are unconscious pawns in it all. You can't argue that it's just about controversy. They almost always stir controversy in just one direction.

He says Rodney King was so famous because his story upheld the narrative. No mention at all that the Rodney King verdict started a huge riot in which dozens of people were killed, thousands injured, with over $1 billion in damages. That's why that story was international news.

He says the quote from the African king makes slavery more about economics and not about racism. Slavery was always about economics.

He says about the Left, "Everything they believe in has proven to be wrong." Really Bill? Everything? Mmkay.

Says the American Civil War was fought because the Union wanted to wipe out the memory of slavery. This is patently false. Lincoln didn't change the Union cause to the eradication of slavery until 1863.

Says the faceless guy with the gun is never named because the media didn't feel the need to identify him. In the next breath he says that guy should sue MSNBC for defamation of character. That part was just dumb.

For all the raving he does about Rachel Maddow and MSNBC, Bill is also a caricature of a radical just like Maddow.

Rodney King was famous for a confluence of events. He was famous long before the unjust verdict came out.

He was trumpeted by the media as far more than a person whose rights were abused by police. He was a symbol of racist oppression by the power structures in our country. Again, when you leftists want to rewrite history, stick to eras where the people you're arguing with weren't alive.

That part was dumb. But not as dumb as showing a picture of his gun and cutting away to a discussion of the racist Tea Party.

Kind of like Bill with the civil war part of my post that you failed to acknowledge.

You're confused. How did the riots start if it wasn't made big news?

He says the quote from the African king makes slavery more about economics and not about racism. Slavery was always about economics.
And yet we have mounds of curricula that focus on it being about racism

He says about the Left, "Everything they believe in has proven to be wrong." Really Bill? Everything? Mmkay.
Actually he was referring to the Leftists in the academic field of critical theory
quote:

Says the American Civil War was fought because the Union wanted to wipe out the memory of slavery. This is patently false. Lincoln didn't change the Union cause to the eradication of slavery until 1863.

He didn't say that. And he was presenting it as a the type of basic facts that are ignored in order to push a victimization narrative, along with America electing a black president.
quote:

Says the faceless guy with the gun is never named because the media didn't feel the need to identify him. In the next breath he says that guy should sue MSNBC for defamation of character. That part was just dumb
The man was misrepresented as a white redneck racist when he was in fact a black peaceful political protester. Why does it matter whether they mention his name?
quote:

For all the raving he does about Rachel Maddow and MSNBC, Bill is also a caricature of a radical just like Maddow
You have nothing.

Would you like to research his historical points on the origins of critical theory in academia, the Frankfurt School, and its communist subversive origins? Anything to say at all about that?

He didn't say that.

"America fought a Civil War and lost 360,000 Union dead to eliminate the shameful heritage of slavery"

His exact words

He didn't say it was the original goal, or it was to wipe out a memory. And that is NOT AT ALL the point of the video. That's what you leftists do, you subtly and stubbornly and intentionally misinterpret a minor point, and rail against that stupid straw man.

So I ask again, you fricking pussy

Nope. You left some parts out.

And he absolutely said that was the cause of the war. If you knew anything about Civil War history, you would have noticed that he only mentioned the Union dead and their cause.
