fwiw I do think think cam was behind getting rid of stud. Les has a love affair with that fat worthless frick. He should have been let go last year when we demoted him back to oline coach. I don't believe in letting someone stay around if you demote them. It just has problem written all over it and i believe that was reflected in his lack luster recruiting effort.

Would SL be a guy you think would want to stay at Bama a couple years or just a 1 - 2 year stopgap before he got another HC offer?
I'd say probably stay a couple years. I don't know that he's ever been real interested in being a college HC. Now if the NFL comes calling again that may be another story.

Also there was supposedly issues with Nuss being heavily affected by Saban's in-game criticisms and vastly alter a gameplan and at the end of the day Saban had to realize the 2 just didn't get along, was SL a guy who was more calm and stuck to his gameplan or do you think he'd be?
He usually kept his cool pretty well. He's a cool customer in general to be honest. Man of few words but when he needed to get his point across he did so. He's also a booth guy vs. sideline FWIW.

Finally you said he likes to air it out when given the opportunity, do you think he would be able to utilize all of the O talent Bama has (a lot) ?
Yes. He never had the quality backs at UofL that he'd have at Bama so they weren't as utilized as his QB. He did have a QB that ended up a Heisman candidate for a good portion of the season (Redman) and his top WR Arnold Jackson led the NCAA in receptions a couple times that season.

I didn't have time to look today but I bet the board was melting when it was announced. People should be afraid of us now. We are going to wreck some shite.

Wait till we hire Yaw Yaw (Kiffin's ace recruiter at USCw) as DL coach
We are just gonna collect former SEC HCs on our damn staff
He really is a good OC hire

Saban just wanted a slampiece on the side is the only reason he hired the Lane Pain Train

I think it was a good hire. Y'all needed a change in play calling more than a scheme change. I bet you get a tweeked version of the offense y'all are used to seeing.
