I'm kinda partial to the Witcher series even though I don't play those type of video games. My HS classmate is the executive producer of the Witcher series for CD Projekt Red and did the TED talk for Witcher II at E3 a few years ago.

You said she’s interested in horror games.
Resident Evil is a classic zombie franchise. There’s tons of games out there like that as well. Let her browse steam (there’s probably 100k games on there) on her own and approve purchases of them. you should be happy she’s wanting to game instead of other crap girls of that age may want to do.
