no. you're just drawing conclusions and assuming facts that aren't in evidence. you've been doing this throughout the whole thread

Read what you just wrote and then please never write again.
You two idiots are the ones implying the lack of the brand of gun means there was no gun.
Idiot.

To be clear, I am saying that the paucity of information released with regards to the gun seems to indicate that it is not favorable information for the police department.

....
You accused someone of assuming something by an assumption.
I don't see how a gun in the trailer means anything necessarily. With all this bad press I almost guarantee that it would have come out if he brandished the gun.

Neither of us can possibly know what the policy of GBI is when it comes to the release of information to the media.

Of course you don't.
Unless we have solid proof he was brandishing the weapon it doesn't mean anything. It doesn't justify a shoot on sight policy.

Lol. Sure it was a gun. Has no idea the type. Guarantee if it was an actual gun, we would know the brand, caliber and color.

Derping all over the place.

do you dispute that statement? do you believe that the authorities left the gun with the victim's family?

Here's a report from a GBI investigation before it was complete.
Note the "possibly a .380 pistol" in the report. Derp indeed.
Eta: for good measure, a .357 is also mentioned.

In fairness, they seem plenty incompetent.

Who said there wasn't one?
I'm just laughing at you morons thinking GBI not disclosing type = no gun.

i never said that. that is the assumption you came to based on your shitty reading comprehension.
i'm just laughing at you coming to asinine conclusions based on misinterpreted statements, and then telling everyone else that they are stupid.
dumbass LEOs like you are the reason we have stories like this one.

You are absolutely implying that.
I'm the youngest person ever to be selected for my unit and I've got 3 years of law school from UF
Of course, I'm arguing with idiots, so I guess I'm wasting my education.

I don't. However, these circumstances make perfect sense.
