good question: I’m going to go with meeting my wife. She made me a bit more well rounded, our dual income also allows for a lot of nice things and trips. I’m also thankful for my family, a lot of my up bringing as helped in work with moving up.

The party single life was fun but I have a feeling at some point it would get to be too much. I have a nice balance now and a less selfish HBT

That's definitely a good thing. What does she think about your AMA Sunday and you being such a gift to TD forums?Does she mind that posting is a passion for you and does she have a name for it? My wife asks if I'm posting on Tiger Poo lol.

She doesn’t mind my posting most of the time. She did get really pissed off early in our relationship bc we met a fellow poster in New Orleans and I refused to go back to the hotel because he was lost. She did feel bad after because this poster is awesome.

She never reads td, she is more of a Pinterest person

Probably a mix of warm cottage cheese and onions mixed together.

Is that guy trolling Tennersee, or is that real life? Either is golden.

I saw your job was accounting or HR.

I do not want to derail this thread. I love these threads. I just want hbT’s opinion and nothing else. That said:

If you are an accountant, are you concerned about the national debt? (Not talking about repub vs dems- don’t care).

I have a friend who is an accountant and he believes the national debt has no impact at all. It could quadruple tomorrow and it will have no impact.

I know nothing about accounting, but I just wanted another accountants thoughts.

Does the amount ever matter and if so, How much is too much?

Thanks.

It’s literally a thread about him. So long as you’re talking to him I don’t see how you can derail it. You’re good, doc

I do tax accounting, pretty impressive KS was that close.

IMO the national debt doesn’t really matter in the way some believe that it will cause a depression. You look at who holds that debt and then what are the repercussions if we refused to pay. So if we owe China a lot and they call for the debt then they either get less money or go to war to collect it. Either way bad out come for them.

I could see it maybe having some impact on inflation if it went way way out of control.

To go further into the debt discussion I look at it as who can really make the US do anything? The answer being no one, as long as we have the best and strongest military.

They can ask us to pay or make threats but at the end of the day they don’t have any recourse that wouldn’t be painful to them.

So I don’t worry about the national debt, though I would like us to start cutting the budget and getting away from such a big debt.

A super eruption like yellow stone is more likely to be the cause of the us faultering than national debt.
