Well to be fair white people going to these things is the equivalent of black people going to a kkk rally.

Not really, since one group is pretty vocal of segregation and the other is supposedly about equality

"...healing space for the students to share, decompress, be vulnerable & real.”

AKA be openly racist

What the frick is a "black only healing space"? I'm usually behind the black man as I think the shite he gets put through is unfair, but when did he become such a pussy?

I'm seriously at a loss for words. It sounds like a child asking their mom to leave the room while their are crying and acting like a titty baby because "they just don't understand". As some childish ploy to seek further validation when none exists. Jesus Christ.

These groups are led typically by professional students (like Butler) who are old enough to be smarter.

And last night they were joined by the pros from Ferguson, Johnetta and at guy whose name starts with a D but I can't remember and don't feel like looking up. The manipulator a are now being led by the masters.

Deray McKesson I think

Which means there wasn't any "healing" taking place. Just strategizing the next propaganda burst.

You just summed up the Mizzou campus the past week.

This. 45-50 years ago, African Americans finally got the opportunity to play in this league. And these clowns at Mizzou walk out because an opportunistic fricking millionaire decided to stop eating because of health insurance? I wonder what Wilbur Jackson and John Mitchell would have done. Probably taken him a pizza and told him to get his ungrateful arse back to class.

All the more reason to follow the suggestion proposed by a writer in the National Review and raise the voting age to 25.

There were reasons the constitution was written the way it was written. And voting was a states right. Today is proof. Yep these people vote. Has nothing to do with racism.

Y'all got this.

Is there nothing you can do about any of this beyond this board? I mean no talk of a counter strike of any sort? No talk of sane people at Mizzou doing their own protest? No talk of an email or letter writing campaign?

Exactly. I see more turmoil on its way.

This. Where the hell is this supposed "silent majority", and why the hell are they still silent? Is there no one at Mizzou with the energy and convictions of the protesters?

I'm voting with dollars and sense. My daughter is a HS junior. She wants to go to Mizzou. (We had a long conversation this morning about the whole fiasco as one of her teachers in a lily white privileged private school was lauding the "courage of the protestors." I told her to tell her teacher to shove a cactus up her arse from her pops, but hope she doesn't follow through with that advice at a Christian school.) I told her she needs to seriously consider the type of educational environment she selects. Does she want an environment that encourages growth and academic freedom? Or Mizzou? My mom and dad are both alumni. My dad retired from Mizzou. My wife and I are both alumni. I'd bet my daughter ends up elsewhere. A month ago, I'd have put it at 75% she ends up at Mizzou.

State universities will go the same way that mainline denominational churches are going. And no one will notice until the body is cold (metaphorically speaking).

A liberal city, with a liberal campus and you want to protest against liberal issues? There's nothing to protest for there. Only thing to do is let the liberals eat their own. If people can't wake up to what blacks do to cities with what's happened to cities like Detroit, Chicago, almost any city area where there are lots of blacks, protesting to liberals will not help. Best thing to do would be to go find how the george soros money is about to be used on campus like it was used in ferguson and expose it.

There was going to be a passenger rail line put in connecting kansas city to st. louis through columbia about a decade ago or so. Columbia protested pretty hard because their town was getting too many bad apples from st. louis. So change could happen, but it's not going to happen on campus.

Best bet is to go to 8ch.net/pol/

This is all we can do, without being raked across the coals for being "racist" because we dared to disagree with what's going on.

I've heard rumors from some connected people that the University has already lost a lot of money from people cancelling their donations to the school.
