Both are great movies. It’s rare for a sequel to measure up the original, but they were able to do it.. whether it’s a little less or a little bit better, it’s right there either way.
TG Maverick throws nostalgia nuggets throughout the film, at exactly the right moment, without it being too much, and it truly captures the emotion intended.
That’s pretty rare imo.
