Roy Moore may or may not be guilty of a 38 year old sexual molestation case. If he was guilty, why wait 38 years? If this is the new standard for getting elected, then nobody has a chance to get elected.

You backed a guy that more or less admitted that he dated under aged girls. He lost. Next time don't throw your support behind a weirdo like Roy Moore.
Admit it, a half way decent Republican wins that election by 20+ plus percentage points. The big story today would be "Democrats continue to lose hope in winning back the House and Senate."
Perhaps this is not a case of a good and decent man was framed, but a case of picking a loon to run for office.
If you shove your penis into a meat grinder and begin turning the crank... do not blame the meat grinder for any pain and suffering that you undergo. Don't shove your penis in there in the first place.

I'm just as against illegal Immigration as any far right wacko. I think most of the people in this thread are. I'm even against that stupid lottery system. Take the best or don't take any is my view.
Despite that I would never sacrifice my integrity to vote for a massive piece of shite like Roy Moore just to get my political way. And I'm not talking about "post accusations" Roy Moore. I'm talking about the Roy Moore who claims to be a Christian, lays his hand on a Bible and swears to uphold our laws (I was always under the Impression that this was supposed to mean something to you Christians) with absolutely no intention of upholding laws that he didn't agree with, twice.
If you want to argue that he had every intention of holding to his sacred oath, but circumstances arouse then fine. As a Christian under a sacred oath there could be only one solution that would not jeopadize your Soul and that would be resigning. END OF STORY. The reason he didn't do that is he's as much a Christian as I am. What he actually is is a power hungry demagogue.
The majority of decent conservatives in Alabama recognized these basic facts and that's why he's not a Senator today.

So if you don’t admit to it, you didn’t do it? Even when 9 advisors and 30+ witnesss claimed he did it? And he wrote in one of the accusers’ yearbook? AND he called another girl while she was in high school? AND employees in a mall were told to be on the lookout for this creep whenever he came it.
Like someone already said, majority of people in Alabama already knew his man was a disgusting creep. Most made up their minds before the WaPo story came out.

Obviously there isn’t a cell phone video of Moore diddling kids back in the 70’s but the yearbook proves that he did know this women. And why would she lie? She voted for Trump, received no money, and told people what happened long before Moore ran. She didn’t even seek out the Post, they found her.
Her mother backed up her story as well. Why would they lie? Do you even have proofed that she or any of these women lied? (The yearbook wasn’t forged btw- even Fox had to retract that story).
